Extended 3D Analysis of Building Systems (ETABS), Begins at MIST!
The Department of Environmental, Water Resources, and Coastal Engineering (EWCE) at MIST has proudly inaugurated a five-day Short Course on “Extended 3D (Three-Dimensional) Analysis of Building Systems (ETABS)” on 9 November 2025. The program, running from 9–13 November 2025, aims to enhance participants’ theoretical and practical understanding of structural modeling and design using ETABS software. A total of 35 participants — including 34 students from MIST and one participant from RUET — are taking part in this intensive training. The course is being conducted by expert instructors from the CE and EWCE Departments, MIST, who bring a blend of strong academic expertise and professional experience in structural engineering and computational modeling, ensuring an engaging and industry-relevant learning experience.
Aim of this course is to equip participants with essential knowledge and skills in advanced structural modeling and analysis using ETABS, ensuring safe, accurate, and efficient design solutions.

Participants will gain hands-on experience and advanced analytical skills in ETABS, empowering them to design and evaluate complex structural systems effectively. This initiative strengthens MIST’s mission to foster innovation, technical excellence, and global engineering competence among its students and professionals.
