Field of Interest:

Human factors and ergonomics in built environment, environmental considerations in architecture, human impact on ecosystem and biodiversity, disaster management and risk reduction, disaster management and urban open space, architecture education pedagogy, urban informality and sustainable practice, informality and urban planning, inner city urban blight and renewal.

 

Teaching interest:

Human factors and ergonomics, architectural design, history of architecture in South Asian region, urban design, ecology and environment, research methodology.

  • Doktor der Ingenieurwissenschaften (Doctor of Engineering) from Technische Universität Dresden (TU Dresden), Dresden, Germany in 2018.
  • Master of Science in Environmental Science and Management (MESM) from Bangladesh University of Professionals (BUP) in 2023.
  • Master of Science in Urban Management and Development (UMD) with specialization in Urban Environment and Infrastructure Management from the Institute for Housing and Urban Development Studies (IHS) at Erasmus Universiteit, Rotterdam, The Netherlands in 2008.
  • Bachelor of Architecture from Bangladesh University of Engineering & Technology (BUET) in 2006.
