Closing Ceremony of MIST Inter University ICT Innovation FEST 2021
The closing ceremony of 2 month-long MIST Inter-University ICT Innovation Fest 2021 was held on December 11, 2021. To celebrate Bangladesh’s glorious Golden Jubilee of Independence, the CSE department, MIST arranged the event in September-October 2021, with the objective of facilitating a platform where young and talented minds from around the nation can share their innovative ideas, projects, and prototypes that leverage ICT to solve the problems we face as a nation today. The fest basically included four categories of contests – Hackathon, Project Showcasing, Mobile App Contest, and Essay Competition, where students from different universities and colleges (for Essay Competition) nationwide including BUET, MIST, IUT, SUST, KUET, BRACU, NSU, and DIU actively participated. Cumulative prize money of BDT 315,000 was distributed among the winners of different contests.
